Acranthera sp. Thailand
The color of this plant is similar to the color of the sky in close proximity to a wildfire. It is likely suited to lower humidity than I have been giving it, as the leaves are thick and robust. It is slow-growing but easy. The leaves are deep reddish-brown with a pebbled texture. It has been commonly exported out of a few countries in SE Asia, and as far as I know, its locality has not been confirmed but has been said to be native to Thailand (?). In greenhouse conditions, I suspect it will get to a very good size, as leaves can easily reach 8″ long, likely more.
Available plants are rooted in 2″ pots and will have at least two leaves. They will be shipped potted. The last photo is representative of the size plant you will receive.
