Begonia aff. pulcherrima
I received this plant labeled as potamophila, however some friends pointed out it looks closer to pulcherrima. I didn’t closely examine the blooms, so can’t say for certain, but the petiole is inserted close to the end of the blade, which is more consistent with pulcherrima. Pulcherrima grows occurs from SW. Rwanda to NW. Burundi. It is a very pretty plant with yellow flowers and a slow growth habit.
Available plants are well rooted in 4″ pots and will be shipped potted. The last photo is representative of the plants available.
