Begonia kui

$40

The type specimen of this species was purchased from a flower market in Taiwan! It occurs in Thai Nguyen Province, Vietnam, but may also grow elsewhere in Northern Vietnam.  It is a very attractive Begonia, with silver palmate leaf markings.  New leaves come out pink-purple, and then darken as the leaf matures, to puprle-brown. Leaves are covered in short stiff hairs. It is a slower growing species, and appreciated good drainage and regular (but weak/dilute) fertilizer.

Available plants are well rooted in 2″ pots.  They will be shipped potted.  The last photo is representative of the size plant you will receive.
