A miniature tropical bamboo! My mother plant is about 12″ tall, and this species can get larger with room, but, not *that* much bigger.   A really remarkable species with white flowers that are easy to miss.  Self-fertile *and* often self-pollinating so you will find seedlings around the base.  In my experience, this has not been a weedy species and is very easy to control if you do not want a colony of them.  Slow growing for a Bamboo and a ‘clumping’ type.
