Floscopa (maybe peruviana?)
$12
This species has a bright red stem and a pretty little flower. The leaves are a waxy green and cleaved down the middle. It is an excellent choice for a paludarium or tank that simulates a floodplane or streamside habitat, as it is widely tolerant of swampy growing conditions, and even seems to prefer growing in shallow water. I’m not sure of the mature size, but it does grow slower once reaching 8-10 inches, and alters its growth to grow outward rather than up once they have attained that size. My plants are just under a foot and one and a half years old.
Available plants are well rooted in 2″ pots. They will be shipped potted. The last photo is representative of the size plant you will receive.
