Philodendron sp. Peru Shingler

$30

This unique Philodendron stays small in my experience, with leaves maxing out around 2.5″.  New leaves are reddish yellow, and the roots are a nice pale red.  It will happily climb a wood surface (seemingly to indefinite heights).  It can be grown terrestrially, but grows much slower, producing maybe one or two leaves per year.  To thrive, it really should be given room to climb.  It prefers sphagnum substrate.  A slow growing species in any conditions, it takes its time acclimating, but after it is established can put out a moderate amount of growth each year.

Available plants are well-rooted in 2″ pots. They will be shipped potted. The last photo is representative of the size plant you will receive.
