Sinningia bullata

This aptly named Sinningia species has bright orange (almost red) flowers and nice bullate foliage.  The stems and leaf undersides are covered in wooly hairs, which are so dense that it really looks more like wool than plant hairs.  It has a sticky texture.  It occurs in the Santa Catarina area of Brazil, and is very easy to grow as a house plant or terrarium plant.  It thrives in bright light, but would also do well in medium light.  It is an easy to grow specimen plant and is difficult to kill.

Plants available are rooted and growing in 2″ pots.  They will be shipped bare root.
