A stunning Sonerila with velvety leaves and (for a Sonerila) a thick stem.  Foliage is a subdued lime green and mauve, oriented in a beautiful smattering of spots and speckling along the midrib.  It is a species that jumps out at you even when kept in proximity to other colorful tropicals.  This one is less bushy than other upright Sonerilas and a bit slower, but it is not difficult to keep in terrarium conditions.
